Cebu - located between pier 2 and pier 1
Ormoc - located near the exit of Ormoc's pier
2. Prepare pet cage/crate - You need to place your pet on a cage or crate. As with our case, we were told to place Yan-Yan on the cage before entering the pier's terminal.
3. You need to pay for your pet - Some shipping lines may require you to pay for your pet upon acquisition of tickets (e.g. Cebu Ferries - 150 pesos) and some ask for payment just before boarding the ship (e.g. Roble - 100 pesos).
On-board Roble, pets are placed somewhere near economy-sitting. Since Yan-Yan is not used to being caged, she kept on barking. I asked the ship's crew if I can take her out of the cage. We were lucky because the crew allowed us to sleep on the economy cot as long as Yan-Yan will stay quiet and won't disturb other passengers. Good thing Yan-Yan was being a good dog at that time and stayed quiet while the other passengers were asleep.
We weren't so lucky with Cebu Ferries because they are more strict. Yan-Yan was placed near the cargoes. Thankfully she and the other pets were placed near the air-con and were properly ventilated. If they weren't, I could have given the crews a piece of my mind. =)
